Working extra today to try and get me some money as I can only work half the day tomorrow due to my interview with the Kala shire. Send good vibes my way please, I am dying to have a job less than 40 minutes away from my house!! So today has been well exciting, had to still get up earlyish to go to the dermatoligist (spelling?), it appears I just have a maximum of four months to go of horrible dry skin and then I will have amazing glowing skin :D or so my theory goes... then I got HJ's brekky roll and a Boost Juice (see, healthy part) before getting in to work just after the crazy business had stopped. Ah I love my perfect timing! Long weekend + beginning of month + relocation of servers over weekend = crazy morning that I am thrilled to have avoided =)
So, what did I do on my long weekend I hear you ask? Well, not a lot. Friday I had dinner with my second family (the Fosters!) and that was quite fun, Saturday I went out to lunch with Viv in the morning, then watched footy, then went bowling that night and I have decided bowling is the devil and I will never go again (at least not with people who don't want bumpers - what kind of crazy people don't want bumpers??). Also Phill and I had to break up for his last game cos he was playing really crap so for that one game we were broken up he actually did really well so that is another reason I will not go with that group of people again. I did discover the "rolling the ball with both hands through your legs" method works quite well. Once I started that I actually didn't come last!! I was so proud.
Anyway, on to Sunday... umm I think I mostly slept, had a lovely breakfast about 2pm, pisfarted around and then went to Kingsley where a friend was house sitting to polish off a bottle of Phill's dad's wine. It was quite good too - the wooded 2006 Chardonnay I think - it won a silver medal at some HIlls Wine Fair thingy. I recommend everyone go to his winery (at their house) and support him! And I didn't really have a hangover: selling point!!
Monday was slightly more constructive, got out of bed by about 11 I would say and Phill started digging around his pools' skimmer box pump thing to try and find a leak and I went to Wally deli and got us a nutritious breakfast, bacon and egg sandich, pie, sausage roll, choc milk, red creamy soda, the usual. Once Phill foudn the leak, we left the pool to drain down and started working on installing my car speakers which was a huge job cos they were like 2mm larger than my factory speakers. So the entire back of my car practically needed to be pulled out cos it is all joined together and the braket thing for the speakers was angle grinded and hack sawed and bent and eventually cut up and then welded back together again to make my speakers fit!! And I helped put my car back together, I am so mechanical-like! In between I also helped Phill's dad pour wine for visitors with my grease monkey hands!! Not sure if he'll be wanting my help again!! Lol! He did offer to buy me dinner though for helping but I had been called upon for kitchen bitch duties at home, so uncool. Then basketball was forfeited but I had to go up anyway to watch the other girls play cos I had one of their shirts. Very uncool when their game is at 9.20 and I was peacefully sleeping before I had to go there so then consequently didn't sleep again til after Scrubs at midnight! Yeah my bad and that leads me back to the start...

So she all but said she probably won't hire me as she wants someone experienced for the election year but in a non-election year they would take me on and nurture me. Stupid Howard making stupid elections when I want a job!
And then I had what felt like 5 minutes to write a media release about some funding I have never heard of and a letter of congratulations to some square kid in the electorate for getting some Lord somebody prize for squares!
Conclusion: I think my work will have to be pretty great to prove I can handle it all with no experience. So let's just hope all the other candidates are worse than me and they have to give me the job! I mean I bought a new expensive skirt for the interview and everything!
Now cos Phill is playing netball I get to sit at home alone and do nothing. How excitement!

Been a while since I made an entry... not much exciting stuff has been happening to me. At the moment I seem to just be busy doing dumb uni assignments. I am doing good though. I only have about 3000 more words to write by Thursday and then I am done until exams in June! Yay!
I saw Spiderman 3 on Wednesday night, yes I am exclusive and saw it before it was released thanks to Phill's mum getting tickets from her work! Was crazy security though to prevent piracy because "piracy funds drug and terrorism" according to the lady running the show. So it was ok they took my mobile and scanned me with a beepy thing so I don't become a terrorist! SO anyway the movie was good except for when Spiderman went emo (evil Spiderman is just normal Spiderman with an emo fringe) and that bit kinda dragged. Who needs character development when you can have action!!? :P
I am getting worked like crazy at pole at the moment, Lara hammered me yesterday so I can barely move and now Tess wants to have a go tonight so not sure how that will go considering the lack in abailiy to walk I possess today. Basketball tomorrow should be interesting as well!
Back to work for me now in fact I think I have lunch now. Yay! Lefttover Shepherd's Pie!
- Mood:bouncy
So yesterday I turned 23 - I don't fell older yet but I do seem to be becoming more forgetful so maybe that is my old age setting in! Apart from having to go to uni my day was pretty good. Had the olds round in the morning before I went to uni to give me my presents. I got some funky stuff - posters, clothes, speakers for my car... So then I struggled through uni, using my 2 hour break to pop over to the Galleria as I was determined not to spend my birthday in the library!! While at the Galleria I bought a dress that I wore to dinner that night.
Phill and I went to the Chargrill above the Brass Monkey for dinner and that was really nice and yummy and very fast service - almost too fast and it meant we paid for more parking than we needed to! Haha but anyway was a great night and we had great fun and good food. I had some chargrilled beef eye fillet I think. Cooked so well and so huge! I would recommend the place if you like lots of meat!
My eye went weird last night cos I got something stuck in it or it got scratched or something so when i woke up it was still all puffy and half closed and blood shot! It is getting better now but that was weird and uncool to have on my birthday!
So yeah now I just have my celebrations at the Cas on Friday - I will hang out in the sports bar near the Ruby Room from about 8 - 9pm so best to meet up with me there if you are coming :~)
- Mood:
okay
I have decided my brithday will be celebrated on the 20th of April. So if anyone feels like going to the Casino that night - look out for me and buy me a cocktail! :~) pleeeeease!
One hour of work to go. One of the stupid boys are away this week so that has made today a bit easier without his emo sighs every 3 seconds! Unfortunately also someone who is fun to talk to at work is away this week so I guess it's better they coincide with each other so things stay on a plateau.
Donations for the "Rachel can only work 7.5 hours this week cos of Good Friday" fund can now be deposited to me directly! I think I should apply for more jobs - I kinda slacked off there for a while... or I could do uni work... somehow I think neither of those are gonna happen! Please inject me with some energy and enthusiasm!

My mum was just on the phone to my auntie and she called me easy!! Haha! It's her birthday today so I will let her get away with that!! Apparently it's a good thing according to her! Oh dear... i really shouldn't post stuff when I am just writing whatever pops into my brain so the end.
- Mood:
cheerful
Well, my graduaiton went well. DIdn't fall on my head despite my fear! Had a decent turn out of people to watch me. There should have been more cheering in my opinion but from what I was told they were too gobsmacked to cheer so I will choose to believe that!
I desperately want to get out of this job, not sure how much longer I can handle this!! I have applied for a couple in PR related industries. If anyone knows where I can get some experience / foot in the door stuff to do with PR please hook me up!!
SKydiving tomorrow so was excited about that until everyone at work has basically told me I will die - yay! So trying to raise money for spinal research and rehabilitation by doing this jump, hopefully I won't be needing their services if all goes well...
